Watercolour Painting Café
A J Ludlow Colours Painting Café is located in Llanreath, Pembroke Dock. Situated on St Patricks Hill, Llanreath, it overlooks Milford Haven waterway, with stunning views of the busy port and river traffic. An ideal place to spend a relaxing morning or afternoon, painting en plein air, or in the studio with our handmade exquisite Professional Watercolours.
Forming part of a working artist’s studio and watercolour making facility, there is lots to do and see at A J Ludlow Colours Painting Café, including drop-in painting and painting workshops, browsing original art for sale and buying fine art materials.

What to expect
from your visit:
Tutored painting sessions starting at 11 o'clock in the morning and 2 o'clock in the afternoon. Painting themes vary every day.
Unstructured drop-in painting sessions, are also part of the Painting Café experience.
The Wednesday Afternoon Watercolour Painting Club.
A Relaxing Painting Day with friends.
Tutored painting sessions are suitable for those of you who would like to learn the techniques of painting in watercolour as part of a structured tutorial.
£35 per person
for up to 2 hours
Drop-in painting sessions are suitable for those of you who would like to work on your own project, paint free and loose or just want to try A J Ludlow Professional watercolours.
£25 per person
Joining the Wednesday Afternoon Club is suitable for those of you who would like to paint watercolour regularly and enjoy meeting up with like minded people.

Our watercolour painting short courses are designed to help you explore the variety of techniques used in watercolour painting. Delivered in two hour sessions over a period of three weeks, they will enhance your watercolour painting skills and open up new and exciting ways to create your art. Each three week course will cover different aspects and there is plenty of hands-on for you to consolidate your learning, with all the art materials you need included in the price.
Whether you have already experienced watercolour painting or if this will be the first time you have picked up a paint brush, you will find the expertly designed painting classes fun, delightful and relaxing. There is also no need to invest in your own art materials before you join one of our courses.
