Expect a warm and friendly welcome and enjoy the homely experience with an expertly made beverage, delicious freshly-made sandwiches and home-made cakes, which you can either enjoy al fresco in the café’s garden, or relaxing in our studio. Untutored Watercolour Painting Experiences are available without booking when the Watercolour Painting Café is open; 11.00am to 3.00pm, on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
We can offer watercolour painting as an indoor activity, ideal when the weather is not so kind.

Situated on St Patricks Hill, Llanreath, it overlooks Milford Haven waterway, with stunning views of the busy port and river traffic. An ideal place to spend a relaxing morning or afternoon, painting en plein air, or in the studio with our handmade exquisite Professional Watercolours.
Forming part of a working artist’s studio and watercolour making facility, there is lots to do and see at A J Ludlow Colours Painting-café, including tutored watercolour painting experiences, browsing original art for sale and buying fine art materials.
Tutored Painting Experiences are by advance booking only and are subject to availability, as they are essentially private watercolour lessons.

from your visit:
During the summer months, the time table for Tutored Watercolour Painting Experiences has been extended to incorporate an additional session; 9.30am to 11.30am, 2.30pm to 4.30pm and 6.00pm to 8.00pm.
Tutored painting sessions are suitable for those of you who would like to learn the techniques of painting in watercolour as part of a structured tutorial.
Untutored painting sessions are the ideal opportunity to try our exquisite watercolour products in our beautiful and inspiring studio overlooking the busy Milford Haven waterway. Spend two hours of quality time with the exquisite watercolour painting materials from A J Ludlow.
