Pure Pigment Powders

A J Ludlow's Pure Pigment Powders are available in two sizes, 15ml and 60ml glass jars. Also included in the range are a number of Effects Pigment Powders

Using only the highest-quality pure pigment, our range of powdered colourants are suitable for use with A J Ludlow’s Binder and Painting medium to make home-made watercolours, or alternative binding mediums, including drying oils for oil colours and oil-based paints and for three-dimensional work, solvent-based acrylic or polycarbonate resins.

For home-made acrylic colours, the pigment should be ground into a wetting and dispersing additive first, in order to stabilise the pigment in the acrylic emulsion.
