A J Ludlow Professional Watercolour Painting Set - Christmas Cards

This A J Ludlow “All you need to paint..” Professional Watercolour painting kit is designed for those that want to create their own Christmas cards. To help get you started, the kit includes three pencil drawn designs for you to paint using the watercolour paints supplied. There are also three blank cards for you to use for your own designs and so help make your Christmas that bit more special and delightful for your family and friends.

Our watercolour painting kits have been created for everybody to enjoy painting in watercolour. They have been especially designed to help you master the techniques of watercolour, while experiencing the joy of using top-notch fine-art materials. All three designs can be expertly painted following the individual 12-step printed painting instructions. There are also video painting demonstrations for each design available on our YouTube channel, which can be reached via dedicated QR codes, making this kit ideal for beginners and artists alike.

Each painting has been designed to be painted with a limited palette of three colours, in order to introduce the concept of colour mixing and the various secondary and tertiary hues that can be created with the three single pigmented watercolours included (as can be seen in the chart below).

This kit contains:

Three blank and three pencil drawn Christmas designs on Saunders Waterford (190gsm) watercolour paper, made from 100% cotton fibres;

Six blank (16 x 24.2 cm) white envelopes;

One Traditional Chinese Sable Hair Brush and one Little Red Hair Detailing Brush;

Three A J Ludlow Professional Watercolours in fully recyclable plastic pots –Cadmium Yellow, Cadmium Red and Phthalo Blue (GS);

Full set of instructions and printed colour mixing chart, showing secondary and tertiary hues that can be mixed using the three single pigmented professional quality watercolours.
