The classic Chinese Dragon Brush rest is made from wood which has a lovely deep brown grain. It is beautifully carved in a traditional dragon-like shape. It can take a number of Chinese brushes, allowing them to rest on the ridges of the dragon’s back. It is suitable to rest your Chinese and Japanese Sumi-e brushes whilst painting.

The Traditional White Cloud Brush has a “heart” of dark Sable hairs, which gives the brush a firm springy tip for great outline painting. Surrounding this “heart” is the absorbent and really soft goat hairs, enabling the brush to create continuous, flowing brush strokes. The handle of this brush is made of traditional bamboo and is perfect shaped to fit comfortably in the hand for executing fluid brush strokes necessary for Chinese painting and calligraphy.

The set of White Cloud Brushes comprises of three sizes, large, medium and small and they come in a roll-up Brush Wallet made of natural bamboo slats which absorb any moisture from wet brushes and prevents rotting. It has gaps between the slats which allow the moisture to eventually evaporate into the atmosphere.
