At A J Ludlow Colours, we have long recognised that watercolour painting is a great way to promote corporate wellbeing, through actively engaging employees in a creative task that can boost mental and emotional health in the workplace.
Based in Llanreath, A J Ludlow Colours comprises of the Watercolour Painting Café and artist's studio. There is also a watercolour paint making workshop, which can be visited as part of a pre-arranged tour.
It is in the studio that we offer watercolour painting as an indoor activity and passionately promote it as a means of wellbeing and a great way to de-stress and unwind; watercolour painting as a creative artform, has long been recognised for its relaxing and therapeutic nature. Watercolour painting is also fun and, in the studio’s relaxed environment, a great place to learn a new hobby to combat the pressures and stress of a busy working life.
At the Watercolour Painting Café we specifically offer our business guests:
· Watercolour painting experiences, including painting workshops and short courses for corporate wellbeing;
· A tasty dimension to the visit, with an expertly made cup of coffee or tea and delicious sandwiches from our lunch menu*, to really make the visit special.
We offer watercolour painting to promote wellbeing, as it has long been recognised that it can boost mental and emotional health. By introducing watercolour painting as a creative activity outside the normal running of the organisation’s business, ensures that the whole workforce can have the opportunity to be involved in creative tasks.

We have designed a variety of creative painting sessions, which your organisation can book on to as a group. Our sessions can be done in an hour at lunch time or after work. They are also ideal as the foundation of a regular wellbeing programme.
For small groups, our studio is ideal to host our wellbeing watercolour painting sessions. Alternatively, we can visit your business premises and hold a fully tutored session there. All art materials would be supplied by us.
Our Informal painting sessions can also be used for team building, social events, or even “meet the boss” occasions or corporate fun days, where all attendees can have the opportunity to get a buzz from creating.
