These Chinese brushes are suitable for both Chinese brush and Japanese sumi-e calligraphy and painting are made from the finest quality natural hair, which have been dressed by a master brush maker. The highly absorbent and soft goat hair, enables the brush to hold a lot of ink/paint and so create continuous, flowing brush strokes, while the others are made from the finest quality Black Rabbit hair and Yellow Weasel hair, offering firm but flexible control.
The handle of these brushes are made from bamboo and have the perfect shaped to fit comfortably in the hand for executing fluid brush strokes necessary for Chinese painting and calligraphy. Like most Chinese brushes, the brushes have a loop on the end so that they can be hung from the Classic Wooden Brush stand to help facilitate natural drying.
